Use of CHD in Governance

Initiating Proposals: In the framework of Charity DAO, the initiation of proposals is reserved for users holding a certain amount of CHD. These proposals can range from decisions about whom to donate CHD from the public donation pool to adjustments and optimizations concerning the entire Charity DAO system and ecosystem. Currently, proposals are initiated by gatekeepers who take into account the entire community's opinions. As the DAO stabilizes, the responsibility for initiating proposals will transition to the DAO itself.

Executing Votes: Once a proposal is made by the DAO, users can stake their CHD into the DAO to gain voting rights; the more CHD staked, the more votes a user has. The proposal option that receives the most votes within the designated timeframe is deemed the winner and will be implemented accordingly.
