Design Philosophy

Address is Identity. In the world of Web3.0, an address signifies one's identity. Adhering to this authentication standard, we've introduced decentralized autonomy and designed the Charity DAO organization on the Binance Smart Chain. It serves both as a product based on blockchain contracts and a group of individuals united by the concept of decentralization. Henceforth, in the realm of Web3.0, charity will no longer be mired in political biases or legal complications due to individual identity issues. Russian tycoons can contribute to Ukrainian refugees, and the South Korean elite can bypass stringent government regulations to offer whatever assistance they can to the impoverished in North Korea. This initiative will bring charity back to its core essence.

Finance is social. The crypto world possesses an unusual beauty, free from the troubling information silos and barriers to trust, thus achieving the decentralization of finance. In terms of charity itself, it is also about the transfer of value and trust between individuals. Therefore, adhering to the principle that 'finance is social,' we aim to use financial activities and events to connect individuals, forming social relationship links. This allows finance to rapidly spread through social relationships, ultimately gathering people's charitable forces together.

Charity is value. The act of charity is meaningful in itself and deserves affirmation and reward. Thus, we introduce the CHD token. Those who participate in donations will receive CHD token rewards. A portion of the donated cryptocurrency will be used to maintain the liquidity and value of CHD, thereby increasing awareness and participation in the entire ecosystem of Charity DAO. As more people participate, CHD will become scarcer, leading to a rise in its price and rewarding early donors, allowing charitable organizations that accept CHD to receive more in donations.

Governance is human nature. We've seen too many charitable organizations gradually become political or money-collecting tools due to management issues. Innovatively, on the basis of decentralized autonomy, we've added an option that aligns with human nature—choosing not to donate, while destroying and splitting the CHD that was supposed to be donated. If, within the DAO, goodwill surpasses greed, then the intended donations will be fully allocated for targeted humanitarian aid, and each DAO member will receive an NFT certificate of donation, recording the brilliance of humanity. If, within the DAO, greed outweighs goodwill, then half of the funds intended for donation will be destroyed, and half will be distributed among DAO members, who will receive an NFT documenting this selfish act. This serves to record the greed inherent in human nature while reducing the circulation of CHD to benefit the entire ecosystem. Regardless of which governance outcome human nature chooses, we fully respect it, and both outcomes will benefit the entire ecosystem.
